RE: Non-Alcoholic Campgrounds

Thanks Homeschooldad. I home school as well. We went on our trip. Got back yesterday. 10 great days. We went to the creation museum and you are right. We were there 4 hours and so need to go back. We loved it.
We stayed at a campground in Cinn. Hamilton County park. Only a few other people were even there. Than we stayed at Carter Caves. Again only a few were there. Not the time for camping so it worked out well.
Our last visit was to Yogi Park in Gatlinburg. Who knew that the owners were Christians. It was packed there and it went great. No one is allowed to have alcohol outside there site. I never saw any, although I never really looked for it. The owners were awesome. Best park I have been too for hospitality and going out of the way for you.
I did not know we could camp at the museum. Hmmmm. Maybe next time.

RE: Non-Alcoholic Campgrounds

Lots of place say no alcohol, but rarely enforce it on individual camp sites as long as you are not loud or unruly. So basically, if you do not want to see someone sitting under his awning and enjoying a cold one....don't look and I won't look at you.
Ken Sorry that you took my post personally. It has nothing to do with you or anyone else who drinks. Do what you want!!!!
I am just looking and thought some here would know. I am surprised at how many take it as a personal attack. I really am sorry. It was not meant to be this way.
For those who take offense to my post, just don't read it than. Click out of it and you are all good. When I read something that offends me, I don't waste my time to post on that topic or to finish reading it. I have much better things to do with my time.

RE: Non-Alcoholic Campgrounds

Try calling that Christan campground and ask them if they know of any others.
I did this. And am still looking into it.
And I can name 3 in MI that are completely alcohol free and Christian oriented. I was only posting hoping to find some in other States that someone may know of. To make my searches easier that's all. Sorry if I offended people.

RE: Non-Alcoholic Campgrounds

Here is one we go to 2 times a year. It is a great Christian RV camp. http://www.covenanthills.org/rv/ I was hoping to find another like it in the other states. But you may be right. I may not be able to find one. Thanks for the input.
